Emailed Information about the Publix Digital Coupon Policy

I emailed Publix yesterday with a few questions about their new Digital Coupon Program. I was curious as to how the digital coupons would work with bogo's. I explained how I normally buy several bogo items and stock-up enough to hold us over till the next sales cycle. I asked if the digital coupons would take off the value of the coupon for every item I purchased or would the value only be taken off one time for one item. This program will start at select stores and only in select areas.

Here is their reply:
"Thanks for your questions and excitement for our new digital coupon program.  This program won't actually go live in the Ocala stores for a few more weeks.  Just like with paper manufacturer coupons the manufacturers set the offer.  To answer your questions regarding how many times a coupon can be used, it is one time on one item.  If you purchase a BOGO, the digital coupon will only come off one of the items but you can still use a paper manufacturer coupon on the second item and Publix coupon on both.  All the digital coupons are manufacturer coupons. We would like to request that you stress the fact that the program will not be available in Ocala for a few more weeks and only in our test stores at this time."

The email continues with contact information, I thought I would share in case
you have questions of your own and would like to contact Publix for yourself.

"We hope we have answered your question to your satisfaction. Should you have additional follow up, please do not hesitate to contact our customer care specialist at 1-800-242-1227. You may also contact us via email at www.publix.com/contact or write us at Publix Super Markets, Inc., P.O. Box 407, Lakeland, FL 33802, ATTN: Customer Care. Please be sure to reference your case identification number noted above. We look forward to hearing from you again soon."
So, if you're in the testing area and you choose to use the digital coupons,
you will still have to clip one (1) paper coupon & two (2) paper store coupons for the bogo items in addition to the digital coupon. Also, the digital coupons are Manufacturer coupons and will stack with the paper store coupons, which you still need to clip.
I hope this clears up some of the questions about the digital coupons, I know it has for me.
~ Lyssa :)
